PDG supplies pharmaceutical coil to ensure product stability and prevent product degradation during shipping. There are three types of pharmaceutical coil - cotton, rayon and polyester.
-
Cotton Fiber
Cotton is a natural fiber (bleached and absorbent) that creates a dry environment inside the package. Cotton is used in packages containing various types of tablets and capsules. Its moisture content is NMT 8.0%.
-
Rayon Fiber
Rayon is a manmade fiber that is 100% absorbent. Rayon is used in packages containing tablets. Rayon has a uniform fiber length and has a moisture content of NMT 11%.
-
Polyester Fiber
Polyester coil is a manmade fiber derived from petroleum. It is a soft, odorless, resilient material used for packaging soft-gel capsules. It is non-fluorescent and non-absorbent (will not introduce moisture or extract moisture within the package). Its moisture content is NMT 1%.
